Organia's own organic banana fields
ORGANIA manages 50 hectares of organic cavendish banana fields and recently is developing 50 additionl hectares. all these are located in Tumbes Region, in the northest part of Peru, close to the border with Ecuador.
Hand Type
Hands are packed in 13kg boxes, mainly for repacking in the Asian market. from 4 to 7 hands per box..
naked clusters
regular "naked" clusters with brand and "organic" PLU stickers, as well as parafilm sealed crowns.
Banded clusters
Banded clusters with parafilm sealed crowns.

We have been buying from independent growers since 2003, certifying their fields and supporting them with technical assistance. these growers are in Tumbes and Piura Regions, both in northern Peru.
